Experiencing Receding Gums

Plaque is the major cause of receding gums and gum disease. Excessive build up of plaque produces acids and toxins that irritates the gums thus resulting to its inflammation. Receding gums is a symptom of gum disease, it is indicated of gums that pulls away from the teeth.

Early signs of receding gums are often neglected causing it to progress and needs to have serious treatment.

Receding gums and early signs of gum disease can be prevented at its early stage. Having superior oral hygiene such as brushing and flossing is your defense against bacteria build up. Oral rinses are effective also in eliminating harmful bacteria in the mouth. Untreated receding gums can lead to periodontitis or may trigger serious medical conditions.
